We are teaming up with Vivid for an Open Day at the Royal Air Force Museum in Hendon on the 5th and 6th November. The event has appropriately been named the “Blue Sky Thinking Open Day” partly because of an aviation theme, but also we want to encourage customers to look at new ideas and potentially think ‘outside the box.’
We are showing an exciting new product with a proven track record of installations in the UK and abroad – a 1.8m hybrid UV LED large format printer from the Chinese manufacturer Yotta. Like many modern machines from China, Yotta brings great value along with high quality. It will produce in either roll or sheet format, and offers great potential margins. Yotta are producing hybrid and flatbed machines accepting media widths of up to 3.2m.
We are also bringing two of our best-selling eco solvent roll-to-roll machines, namely the Epson SureColor SC-S 80600 and Roland TrueVis2 to the show. The latter includes a print and cut capability. The company will also show the new Roland LEF2-300 UV LED Flatbed direct-to-substrate machine. SOS will also show colour management solutions from EFI and Alwan, which can mean significant ink savings and more consistent print quality.
Vivid will show a wide range of equipment, namely the Matrix 370 (Laminating and Spot UV foiling ), EasyMount 1600SH (Wide format laminator/mounter) Magnum MN-35 (Cut/Slit/Crease/Perf), Omni Flow 370 (Auto Feed).
The show runs from noon until 5pm on 5th November, and from 9am until 4pm on the 6th November.
